For many years the Casanatense Library is involved in making the largest possible number of catalographical and digital online resources available to all users. The Opac system, miniatures database, the Inquisition’s edicts and announcements fully digitalised, the Cracas periodicals, the progress in modern and antique book depot, the catalogisation of some special funds in the Opac, are tangible signs of the will of the  Library to make its online presence felt  in order to increase the efficiency of the institutional mission.

A permanent work that requires a significant involvement of human resources and a careful management of insufficient economic resources in order to reach a vide audience of scholars  and enable them to seek information in catalographical part as well as to use contents of digital component.
